Vincent Hansen, 73, of Clarion, Iowa passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016.
Vincent was born on July 21 of 1942, the only child of Vincent H. Hansen Sr. and Gladys (Cox) Hansen. Vincent attended college at Winona State University, where he met his wife, Marjorie. Margie and Vince fell in love in 1964 and were married in 1965. They became the parents of two girls: Pamela and Joelle.
Vince worked as a Supervisor for the Union Pacific Railroad from 1970 until his retirement in 2005. He loved the railroad and he collected all kinds of prints of trains that he displayed in his home. Vince also had a great interest in flying. He built his own airplane in his garage and sold it to someone in Switzerland who Vince later learned had flown it over the alps.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Marjorie, daughter Joelle, and grandchildren, Sasha Anderson and Cheyenne Stephens.
In death, Vincent rejoins his parents, Vincent and Gladys, daughter Pamela and two grandchildren, Chanel Stephens and Arianna Hansen.
Services have already taken place in New York with family. His cremains will rest at Chapel Hill Gardens in Des Moines, IA.
