Thomas William Beveridge Sr., 69, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 18, 2021. Tom was born September 13, 1952 to Clyde and Caroline Beveridge. He grew up in the Historic Valley Junction area and attended Phenix Elementary School and Valley High School. Later he attended DMACC where he received his Associates Degree.
Tom worked at UPS and ended his career there as an Automotive Manager. Tom also had a long career working for the WDM Community School District, retiring in 2014.
Tom loved his family and would do anything for us anytime, anywhere. He was a man of faith and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Tom was a devoted husband, a loving dad, grandpa/papa, brother, uncle, and friend. He was truly selfless and reliable. It is our prayer that the impact of his loss will someday lessen through remembrance and sharing and celebrating stories of his life with future generations of his family and loved ones.
Tom is survived by his wife Pam, sons: Tom Jr. (Liz), Daniel, and David (Megan); and four adorable grandchildren that gave him so much joy: Ava, Charlie, Ethan, and Sam; one brother, Bud Beveridge; and two sisters, Mary Weiss and Carolyn Gaston.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday, December 27. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 28. Both will be at Bethany Reformed Church, 720 NE 52nd Ave., Des Moines, IA 50313.
