In Loving Memory of Ronald Dean Hartman

Waukee, Iowa

Ron, a cherished soul beloved by many, departed from this world on May 23rd, 2024, at the age of 74. He passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and family.

Born in Webster City, Iowa, on September 2nd, 1949, Ron embarked on a journey filled with purpose and passion. He enlisted in the United States Navy as a Radio Operator, where he served his country with honor and dedication during the Vietnam War for four years. His bravery and sacrifice were a testament to his character. His love and brotherhood of his USS Mobile Navy buddies lasted throughout his entire life.

Throughout his life, Ron touched the hearts of all who knew him. His love of playing or watching golf, skeet shooting, catching some two-wheel therapy on his Harley, and getting snuggles from his side kick cat Pumpkin and Grand dog Hazle were just some of the joys he embraced.

Ron was a dedicated family man, a loving husband to Jane (Hand) Hartman of 47 years where they resided in their Waukee home. He was a devoted father to Amy (Dolmage) Keiderling (Keith Larsen) of Trenton, MO, and Bret Hartman (Stacie McChesney) of Salt Lake City, UT. Together with their families, they formed a strong and loving bond that was the foundation of their happiness.
