Ricky Cheevers, 62 of Urbandale, Iowa passed away on December 5, 2020 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa.
Ricky Lee Cheevers was born on October 5, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa; he was the son of Larry Cheevers and Mary Wickstrom. He attended school in the Saydel Community School District and was a graduate with the class of 1977. On June 14, 1980 Ricky was united in marriage to LuAnn Wolfe in Des Moines. Ricky worked at Wolfe Machinery, Bradley Tools and Kyle’s Bikes. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, smoking meats, fishing, hunting and riding his bicycle. Rick enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Minnesota Vikings.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 40 years, LuAnn Cheevers. Children, Ryan Cheevers of Des Moines, and Lindsey Cheevers (John Wills) of Cumming Iowa. His grandchildren, Kane Cheevers and Skylee Freeman. His mother, Mary Wickstrom, Father, Larry (Shelia) Cheevers. Siblings, Sherry Randles of Tennessee, Melinda (Mike) Chambers of Tennessee, sister-in-law, Dianne (Scott) Hitchcock of Des Moines, and several nieces and nephews.
In death Ricky rejoins his in-laws, Kenneth and LaVonne Wolfe, stepfather, Charles Wickstrom and brother-in-law Richard Randles.
