Rakhil Yanouskiy, 89, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Fountain West Health Care Center.
Rakhil was born February 21, 1931 in Kiev, Ukraine. Beloved grandmother, she led her family to achieve the American dream by her example of hard work and dedication. Always ready to give everything while expecting nothing.
She is loved and will always be remembered by her son Alex (Tonya) Yanouskiy; grandchildren Alex (Iana) Roytman and Vicky Yanouskiy; son-in-law Peter Roytman; niece Vera (Mikhail) Figlin, nephew-in-law Gregory Perchenko; her Vinarski family from Israel.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Irina Yanovskaya and husband, Nikolay Yanouskiy.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Merle Hay Funeral Home 4400 Merle Hay Rd, Des Moines. She will be laid to rest at Tifereth Israel Cemetery.
