Michael “Micky” Sinclair, 63, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2021, at home surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 11:00 until 12:00 at the Merle Hay Funeral Home, 4400 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family. Mask are required at this time
Michael Lee Sinclair was born on August 7, 1958, in Eustis, Florida; he was the son of Leonard Sinclair and Fanny Lou Cartledge. He attended school in the area of his birth. Michael met and fell in love with Glennia in 1988 and had been enjoying life together for 33 years. He had been a truck driver for Penske for several years. Mike enjoyed working on cars. Always looking for something to do as he couldn’t stand still, he also was a good cook and griller. When he would sit for a while, he watched the old westerns and WWE wrestling.
Left to cherish his memory are his long-time love Glennia Sellers, sons, Jordan Sellers, Anthony Ross, Michael Sinclair Jr, and Jason Ross, grandchildren, siblings, Dianna Carter, Debra Jean Sinclair, Gerald Sinclair, and John Sinclair, Uncle Leroy Cartledge, and Aunt Susan Baker.
