Linda Lee Hamilton, died from complications from Glioblastoma on July 11th 2022, in her home. She was born April 3rd 1952 in Des Moines, IA, the daughter of Orlando and Arlene Rua. Linda graduated from Lincoln High School in 1971. She married her sweetheart Ted Hamilton January 12th 1973. They celebrated 49 wonderful years together. Linda was a Deacon for Central Presbyterian church for three years. She was also a member of the knitting club and loved knitting blankets for her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to bingo, and trying new restaurants. She also enjoyed traveling and had a goal ofseeing all 50 states. She's predeceased by her parents and grandson Skyler. She is survived by her husband Ted, daughter Donna, son Tommy, five grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 17th 12pm-2pm at Merle Hay Funeral Home.
Celebration of life will follow at 4100 14th Street.
