Kristine Elizabeth Aunspach Minter was born September 26, 1969, in Des Moines, Iowa to Larry and Jackie Aunspach.
Kristine attended local schools in Des Moines. She graduated from Vatterott college in 1996, with her degree in Business-School Education and Criminal Justice. Afterwards, Kristine opened her In-home Daycare, that she operated for twenty plus years.
Kristine's life revolved around her kids, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Her home was always open to anyone and everyone looking for a safe place to go. If you knew Kristine, she always had a warm plate of food waiting for you as well. She absolutely loved cooking! Especially, her famous fried tacos and dessert pretzel salad. Her favorite things were traveling, helping people and the holidays.
On December 22, 2021, Kristine took God's hand and walked into her rest. She was 52 years old. Waiting to greet her were parents, Larry and Jacquelyn Aunspach; her grandma, Hazel Buster; her daughter, Danessa Jo Aunspach Minter; her aunt, Jean Kent, her niece, Ameisha Heard and a host of other relatives and friends.
Left to celebrate her love and memory are her children, daughter, Brandy Minter, sons, Todd Jr. (Alexis) Minter and Jordan (Taylor) Minter; her grandchildren, Anaiza, Aundrea, Sirenitie`, Destin, Liam, Karter and two more grandchildren on the way; her sister, Donna Jo Aunspach; her brothers, Pat (Jennifer) Egglestone and Barney (Kimberly) Aunspach, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Kristine will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Merle Hay Funeral Home, 4400 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines, IA 50310, the funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m.
