Visitation for Keith A. Jamieson 81 of Johnston, IA will be Friday, October 7, 2022 from 10:00
am to 11:30 am at Sunset Memorial Chapel & Gardens in Des Moines. A private burial will
follow the visitation at North Lawn Cemetery in Fort Dodge. Keith died at UnityPoint Health
Iowa Methodist Medical Center on Monday, October 3, 2022.
Keith Alan Jamieson was born December 5, 1940 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Bernard and Dorothy (Gilbert) Jamieson. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School and attended college at Iowa Central Community College. During that time he was united in marriage to Judith Ann Brandrup on November 22, 1962 at the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Dodge. They had three children Scott, Shelley and Kit. Keith worked for over 40 years for Hormel. After retiring from Hormel he worked for Hy-Vee and Walmart before deciding to enjoy retirement. Keith loved his family and getting all the kids and grandkids together. He also loved his dog “Sadie” who was a true companion to him after his wife passed.
Keith is survived by his children: Scott (Debbie) Jamieson of Omaha, Shelley (Tony) Stravers of Norwalk and Kit (Jill) Jamieson of Ankeny, his grandchildren: Joshua (Sarah) Jamieson of
Lafayette, IN, Ben Jamieson of Omaha, Ian Heisdorffer of Des Moines, Mackenzie (Taylor) Greiner of Grimes, Adryan Stravers of Des Moines, Rhiannon Stravers of Ankeny, Kaitlyn Jamieson of Ankeny, Connor Jamieson of Ankeny and Chloe Jamieson of Ankeny. He is also
survived by three brothers: Raymond of Colorado, Barry (Celeste) of Arizona and Brian of
Colorado.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother (Don Jamieson), one
sister-in-law (Donna Jamieson) and one brother-in-law (Jack Brandrup).
