Jonathan Alastair Ruiz Sr, age 30, passed away on March 10, 2024, in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born on May 28, 1993, in Upland, California.

Jonathan loved spending time with his 3 kids, taking them out to eat, and watching WWE. He was a very loving and charismatic father, son, brother, and friend. He always lived life fast.

Jonathan Ruiz is survived by his three children, Jonathan Ruiz Jr, Hayden Ruiz, and Adriel Ruiz; parents, Juan C. Ruiz, and Rosalinda Sandoval; sister, Jannet Ruiz; and brother, John Ruiz.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Merle Hay Chapel, 4400 Merle Hay Rd, Des Moines, Iowa 50310. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Americas Parish, 1271 E 9th Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50316.
