Betty Ann Elliott-Elifritz

Betty Ann Elliott-Elifritz of West Des Moines, IA went home to be with the Lord on April 24th, 2025. Betty was born to Elmer & Laura Holtcamp on November 19, 1927. She married Eugene C. Elliott, and they were blessed with three sons: Dennis, Steven, and David. Gene preceded her in death. She married William“Bill” Elifrtiz, who also preceded her in death.

Betty was a hardworking family woman. She took pride raising her three boys. She was a good & loving mom. Betty always dressed fashionably with her hair & makeup done and always adorned with her favorite jewelry. Betty enjoyed time with family, friends, travel, including two cruises. She found joy in gardening, watching & reading westerns and her soaps, and she loved cats. Betty was the delight of her kitchen, her specialties included amazing fried chicken, chicken & dumplings, and her apple pies and cookies. She was very particular about her apples, and they had to come from the orchard!

Betty had seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She especially enjoyed all of the special visits with Tricia & Kayla celebrating her birthdays and holidays.

Survivors include Steven Elliott (son), Tricia & Kayla Elliott (granddaughters), Brian & Ryan Elliott (grandsons), Dennis Elliott (son), Adam Elliott (grandson), Michael & Anthony Elliott (great grandsons) Cindy Elliott-Flinck (granddaughter) Kylie Flinck & Lillian Flinck (great granddaughters) Chelsie Elliott-Brunsvold (granddaughter) Khloe & Michael Brunsvold (great grandchildren)

Preceding her in death: Eugene Elliott (husband), William Elifritz, (husband), Laura & Elmer Holtcamp (parents), Vivian Holtcamp-Craig (sister), Mona (sister), David Elliott (son), along with her niece, Lori Craig.

To honor Betty a memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2025, starting at 11:00 a.m., at the Merle Hay Chapel, 4400 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines, IA, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
